シングル・カットされた“If You're Ready (Come Go with Me)”は、軽快なレゲエ調のリズムに乗った曲で、ソウルのシングル・チャートで1位のヒットとなった。
サウンド的には、ちょっと洗練された感じの変化が感じられる。ストリングスの導入が新鮮な感じがする。
ソウル界も大きな変化の波に飲まれていく頃の、聴いておきたいアルバムのひとつ。
