ディラード&クラークのラスト・アルバムとなる2ndアルバム。ラリー・マークスのプロデュース。
前作でやり切った感があるのか、このアルバムでは2人が別の方向を向いている感じがする。4曲あった共作もトラディショナル・ソングのアレンジが1曲だけとなった。3曲をクラークが書いていて、残りはカヴァーとなっている。
タイトル曲の“Through the Morning, Through the Night”は2007年のロバート・プラント&アリソン・クラウスのアルバムでカヴァーされている。
個人的にはビル・モンローが書いて多くのカヴァーが存在する“"Rollin' in My Sweet Baby's Arms”や、レノン=マッカートニーの“Don't Let Me Down”がグッドな仕上がりだと思う。
聴いておきたいアルバムのひとつ。
