11月から始まった“アウトサイド・ツアー”のヨーロッパ公演から、12月13日にバーミンガムのNECアリーナで行なわれた公演を収録している。
このアルバムで残念なのは、“Boys Keep Swinging”が収録されていないことだったりする。
何度目かの再生を遂げたボウイと、それを支えるミュージシャンの作り出す音楽の狂気と美しさのバランスがとても良いと思える。
“Teenage Wildlife”が改めて好きになったライヴでもある。こういった空に向かって歌う感じの、広がりのある曲がホントに好きだ。
