2015年の“Shadows in the Night”、2016年の“Fallen Angels”に続く、アメリカン・スタンダードを歌っている。3枚目で3枚組なので集大成かと思うが、ディランのことだから“そんなことはない”なんて言いそうだ。
ディスク1が“'Til the Sun Goes Down”、ディスク2が“Devil Dolls”、ディスク3が“Comin' Home Late”と各ディスク毎にテーマが付けられている。
この一連のシリーズは、“Bob Dylan’s Theme Time Radio Hour”がきっかけのひとつだと思える。
なんとなくだけど、歌が上手くなったと思えるのは気のせいだろうか？
“As Time Goes By”は誰が歌ってもいいなぁ〜。
