もともとは、NPGのファンクラブの会員に配布された未発表やアウトテイクの3枚組のアルバムに、アコースティック・ギターの弾き語りで構成された“The Truth”が追加されて4枚組でリリースされた。
80年代中盤から録音された曲が収録されているが、時系列で並んでいないのが残念かもしれない。
これのアルバムは、プリンス・マニア向けの内容かもしれない。
