全19曲を収録のダブル・アルバムでリリースされた、ウィルコの2ndアルバム。ウィルコのセルフ・プロデュース。
2枚目にしてやりたいことを詰め込んだ感じもするが、そのクオリティーは高い。全てがトゥイーディーによって書かれているが、ヴァラエティに富んだ曲が聴いていて楽しめる。
2枚組ってちょっと長い印象を受けるが、1枚目が36分ちょい、2枚目が40分ちょいとそんなに長いわけでは無い。どちらかというと、レコードを意識している感じがする。
ブライアン・ヘンマンが抜けているが、そんなことは感じられない音作りとなっている。
聴いておきたいアルバムのひとつ。
