6月にシカゴのチェス・スタジオで録音された5曲がイギリスで発売され、それに7曲を追加してLPとしてアメリカで発売されたアルバム。
その5曲は“If You Need Me”、“Empty Heart”、“2120 South Michigan Avenue”、“Confessin' the Blues”、“Around and Around”である。
ロンドンで録音された7曲の出来は良く、オリジナルが3曲でカヴァーが4曲という構成。中でも、全米のシングル・チャートで6位となった“Time Is on My Side”は代表曲のひとつと言える。
