2018/01/23のポール・ウェラーの来日公演のチケット。
前日の大雪が残る寒さの中、全29曲の熱い演奏を体感することが出来た。
嬉しかったのは来日公演の初日でしか演奏されていなかった“English Rose”を聴けたことだ。アンコールのアコースティック・セットでの演奏だったので、じっくりと聴くことが出来た。
ソロ・デビュー・アルバム“Paul Weller”からの“Into Tomorrow”や、この日だけ演奏された“Let It Be Me”とキャリアを総括するようなホントにいいステージだった。
“Start!”で本編が終わり、“That's Entertainment”でアンコールが始まり、ラストが“Town Called Malice”
。個人的な欲を言えば、ザ・ジャムやスタカンの曲を今のポール君の思いで再レコーディングして欲しい…と思えた。
