1987年5月30日から11月28日に行なわれた“グラス・スパイダー・ツアー”から、8月30日にカナダのモントリオール・オリンピック・スタジアムでのライヴを収録している。
このツアーも1988年に映像のリリースがあり、2007年にDVD化された際の限定盤としてリリースされたのがこの音源である。そして、2018年のボックス・セット“Loving the Alien”に収録されていたものが単品としてリリースされている。
アルバム“Never Let Me Down”をリリースした直後のツアーで、期間やセットの規模はボウイ史上最大の規模ものだった。来日公演が無かったのは、受け入れられる土壌が無かったのだと思っている。
アルバムに引き続き、ピーター・フランプトンが参加しているのが嬉しかったりする。北米とオセアニアの一部の公演にチャーリー・セクストンが、アンコールにゲスト参加していたようだ。
2時間を超える素敵なショーを楽しめる内容になっている。
