1951年～1957年に かけて販売された、35mmの距離計連動型カメラです。これは、KONICA I型から始まりIII 型までの一連「クラシック・コニカ」シリーズの中のひとつです。
レンズは、贅沢な5群6枚のヘキサノン、（ヘキサーは3群4枚構成テッサータイプ、ヘキサノンは3群5枚構成のより高級なレンズ）です。ダブルヘリコイド式、沈胴レンズが気に入っています。
