同名映画のサントラです。個人的には「ヌメヌメ・ベース」や「固いピアノ」など録音状態が気に入りませんが、30年前からついつい定期的に聴いてしまう名盤です。このレコもCDもかなりレアでしたが、CDは近年何度も再発され1000円以下でも手に入ってしまいます。
アルバムの白眉はZingaroだろうと思いますが、もっとも印象に残るのは「今カノとの情事の途中に心の中で元カノに語りかける」というシチュエーションの"Almost Blue"。グサリときます。演奏自体は日本公演、ハロルド・ダンコのピアノの方がはるかに良いんですけど。付けたYoutubeの音源は、同名映画のワンシーンから。
