本作品のレコは日本盤以外で白ラベルのプロモ盤が存在しません。本作品でのオリジナル盤のラベルは「ホワイト・アサイラム」です。
なお、このTom Waits / Closing Time (SD5061)のプロモ盤のマトリクスは、僕が知る限り「732731A / 732732A」と「732731B / 732732A」の2種類があるようです（本盤は後者）。
1曲目の人気が圧倒的でしょうが、でも1番好きなのは"Grapefruit Moon"
恥ずかしくなるほど青臭く感傷的な歌詞が、また可愛いです。
