まるで短編映画を見ているように情景が鮮やかに浮かぶ"Tom's Diner"、子どもの虐待というシリアスなテーマに挑んだ"Luka"の2曲の存在感が圧倒的ですが、沈鬱な"Night Vision", 18歳（1977年）に書いたとは信じがたい"Gypsey"など、名曲が並んだ名作です。

久しぶりに表題曲の歌詞を読んでみましたが意味がさっぱり分かりません。無知である大衆、目覚めた「私」、そして何か超越した存在である「彼女」を対比させ、選ばれ目覚めた「私」の孤独と恐怖について歌っているのかなとは思うのですが。相手"She"の言っていることはまるでキリストの言葉のようですね。
