"Flowing Rivers" is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Andy Gibb. The album was produced by Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson, with Barry Gibb on two tracks. It was released in September 1977 on RSO. Flowing Rivers was re-released by Polydor Records in 1998 in CD version.Although the album is not currently in print, it was released to iTunes along with the other two Andy Gibb albums in 2011. From the album, two singles were released, "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" and "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water" (both peaked #1 in the US). Amy Hanson of AllMusic considered the songs in this LP as classic rock.The album was mainly produced by Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson, with Barry Gibb on two songs.

ビージーズはBarry Gibb（1946年9月1日生まれ）、Robin Gibb・Maurice Gibb（1949年12月22日生まれ；二卵性双生児）の3兄弟によるトリオですが、その兄弟に更に姉・弟がいたとは知りませんでした。この弟がこのAndrew Roy Gibb (1958年3月5日生まれ）です。年齢が離れていたから一緒に活動していなかっただけらしいです。
なお、このAndy Gibbのデビュー作が発表された1977年9月というと、あの「愛はきらめきの中に "How Deep Is Your Love"」が発表された月で、ビージーズはこのシングルから連続で「ステイン・アライヴ "Stayin' Alive"」(1977年12月)、「恋のナイト・フィーバー"Night Fever"」(1978年2月)をヒットさせています。アルバムの作成自体もかなり兄の力も借りたのでしょうが、こうした追い風もあってかアルバムからのセカンド・シングル「愛の面影"(Love Is) Thicker Than Water"」は大ヒットしたそうです。
