Palaeoisopus is the largest sea spider or the Hunsruck Slate. Body length is 40-142mm. The first limb span reaches up to 320mm

    鋏角類の種類は意外と豊富なHunsrück Slateですが、この種の特徴的な触肢が詳細に残っている良い標本ですね。参考にされている「Life in the Devonian」の個体より細部が鮮明に思えます。

      Yes, this sea-spider is a common species and always associated with other creatures (crinoids for example).

      I found that the smaller size, the more details can be preserved.
