「上杉謙信」(うえすぎけんしん、長野県)
これは"天と地と,史蹟探勝記念"とあるので、NHK大河ドラマ（1969年）の放映に合わせたものだろうか。
刀を振るう騎乗の #上杉謙信 と旗印の"毘（ﾋﾞ）"の字をダイナミックに描く作品。販売地は春日山城跡か、川中島か。全長63cm。

1, 上杉謙信のペナント。黄色い布にイラストをプリント。ペナントの左に赤いリボン2本付き。
2, イラストは刀を振るう騎乗の謙信と旗印の "毘" の字。
3, イラストの拡大。刀を振るう騎乗の謙信の姿は "流星光底 長蛇逸す" を彷彿とさせるが、これは川中島古戦場史跡公園の銅像にも見られるもの。また大きく描かれた "毘" の字は青で彩色され、旗印としてのデザインらしい構成である。
4, タイトルは "上杉謙信" （赤）。その右に謙信の生没年 "1530ー1578" （赤） が小さく記されている。

"上杉謙信" UESUGI Kenshin, Nagano Prefecture.
UESUGI Kenshin was a real-life warlord in medieval Japan. He was a lord of Shinano (near present-day Nagano Prefecture) and a popular historical figure known as a wise and strong samurai.
Length 63cm （24.8in). This pennant was produced around the 1970s. #vintage

2, The illustration shows Kenshin on horseback wielding a sword and the character "bii" (毘) on the flag.
3, Enlargement of the illustration. The figure of Kenshin on horseback wielding a sword can be seen in the bronze statue in Kawanakajima Historical Park. The character for "Bi" (毘), the banner, is drawn in large letters in blue. The character "Bi" (毘) is taken from the name of the Budda "Bishamonten" （毘沙門天） whom Kenshin believed in.
4, The title is "UESUGI Kenshin" (red). To the right of the title, Kenshin's birth and death dates "1530-1578" (red) are written in small letters.
