Bob Bailey moved to Nashville in 1981 and started to work as a songwriter for Lorenz Creative Services, a Christian music publisher, that bought the re-released Bailey’s 1980 first album “Looking Forward” on Triangle Records, the Benson Company label. The publisher also made it happen in 1983. Bailey’s second solo album “I’m Walkin’” produced by David Diggs, backed by the first call musicians including Paul Jackson Jr. Ed Greene, Bill & Tamara Champlin, Richard Page and Steve George. The result was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1984 for Best Gospel Performance, Male.
