Ohio-born Bob Bailey had a life changing experience with the Christian band New Hope when the band toured all over USA, UK, and Northen Europe in late 1970’s. After returning home to Oregon after the tour, Bailey joined The PTL Club, a Christian television program, in North Carolina, and while there, Bailey signed first recording contract on Goodlife Records out of Phoenix, Arizona and released his solo debut album “Looking Forward” in 1980. After leaving PTL in January 1981, Bailey moved to Nashville, and went to work as a songwriter for Lorenz Creative Services. Lorenz bought the masters to his first record, “Looking Forward” from Good Life Records and re-released it on Triangle Records, the Benson Company label in 1981.
