Kevyn Lettau was born in Boston in 1960, and raised in Germany where her mother came from. When she was 15, she moved to San Diego and started to support herself by house-keeping and singing on the street corners of Del Mar, California while in high school. In 1984, Brazilian music became the next dominant force in her life. Kevyn started touring and recording with Sergio Mendes. At last in 1991, Kevyn established her own solo career with the album "Kevyn Lettau" on Nova Records, which shoud be discribed as Contemporary Jazz with Brazilian pop flavor. She also released another album "BrazilJazz" recorded with Michael Shapiro and Peter Sprague.Since then, Kevyn costantly released her solo album for JVC; "Simple Life" (1992), "Another Season" (1994), "Universal Language" (1995). Kevyn is especially in Asian coutries including Japan, which makes her possible to release the pop album "The Language Of Flowers" only for Asia in 1998. In 1999, JVC Music released a greatest hits collection entitled "Miracle Voice - The Best Of Kevyn Lettau" also only for Asiain market. In 2000, Kevyn released "The Police" which included her "Police" covers in 2000 under VideoArts Music Japan and later under Metronome Records - Universal Music, Germany. Kevyn presents you fine varsatile-style vocal album "Little Things", a little apart from her Brazilian music oriented style.
