Danny Gans / Brand New Dream
Danny Gans was well-known as the "Entertainer of the year" in Las Vegas, the bes singer-comedian-impressionist-actor in the United States rather than CCM singer. Actually Gans signed a multi-year agreement with Mirage Resorts andn performed in his own 1,250-seat theater at The Mirage, one of the best casino hotels on the strip of Las Vegas. His Vegas production had been awarded Show of the Year for 10 straight years from 1998 to 2008. It was not difficult to imagine that Gans was also good singer. Thus, I enjoyed Danny Gans - "The Man of Many Voices" on his one and only album "Brand New Dream" featuring many acclaimed musicians. Gans’ cover version of Spiral Starecase‘s 1969 smash hit “ More Today Than Yesterday” duet with Nicole C. Mullen is superb.
Gans suddenly passed away on 1 May, 2009 at his home in Henderson, Nevada due to an adverse drug reaction and a pre-existing heart condition.
