Brett Walker coming from Oklahoma, started his music career in L.A as a songwriter. His first success was the Billboard top-10 hit song "Waiting For Love" performed by the L.A. hard rock band ALIAS in 1991. Then, Brett started to make his own album in New York and the recording materials were released in Europe and Asia in 1994. He established his popularity especially in Scandinavia, while having a hit song entitled "Lecia". In 1996, Brett released the his band album "Brett Walker And The Railbirds" with Tommy "Mugs" Cain (ds), Brian Jones (b) and Brad Zapper (g) (Key) under Westcoast Records, Sweden. "It's A Good Thing", the first single from this album reached the radio charts in Denmark as well as Sweden. Brett has just released his new solo album "Lift Off" with co-writers including Jeff Paris and Timothy Drury. Some cuts from this album are being used on the television shows such as "Touched By An Angel" and "Bay Watch". Walker died at his home in Draper Utah on July 8, 2013, at the age of 51.
