Mendoza Heredia Neto / Live In L.A.
"Mendoza Heredia Neto" is known among Westcoast / AOR freaks as the "Straightjacket" supporting Michael Ruff. I believe you should remember their passionate and excellent live performance on the live CD "Michael Ruff with Straightjacket / Feels Good" (1996). For Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal freaks, Marco Mendoza must be recognised as the super bassis of "Blue Murder" and/or "Sykes".
This live album was recorded at "La Vee Lee" located in Ventura Blvd. Studio City of Los Angeles area. "La Vee Lee" is the good live restaurant, we can feel the passion of musicians who perform there, (also they have delicious Mediterranean dishes! ) On this album, you can enjoy Marco's super-technique passionate live performance. All the tracks on this CD are very interesting. For example, the album is started by Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground" and followed by "Teen Town" originally performed by Weather Report. "Suzy Q" is the CCR's tune, "I feel Good" is James Brown's. "Splatch" is originally performed by Marcus Miller.
