エピソードの冒頭、ムルチを封印するメイツ星人の様子。
帰マン随一の問題作とされるこの回、身寄りのない少年と暮らしていたメイツ星人を人々は殺してしまい封印されたムルチが復活してしまう。
公害や差別問題を取り扱っていたり書物で取り上げられたため評価されているが、登場する一般人の行動が誇張されすぎていたり、なぜ伊吹隊長が托鉢僧の格好してたのかなど、ちょっと変なところもあるので…
