Since 1969, Nigel Olsson served his drumming for Sir. Elton John and continued to support John until 2019 when he did 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' Tour. 50 Years of Playing Drums for Elton John!
Known not only for his drumming with Elton John but also for his own solo leader albums. In 1971, Olsson produced and released his debut solo album Nigel Olsson's Drum Orchestra and Chorus. In 1970’s Olsson released another three solo albums; 1975 self-titled album, 1978 second self-titled album and 1979 “Nigel”. “Changing Tides” followed in 1980.
In 2001, Olsson was back with the album "Move The Universe" in Japan under Sony Music Entertainment that featured Kiki Dee and Gigi Worth's lead vocal tracks in addtion to Olsson's own lead vocal tracks.
