Faragher Bros
Faragher Brothers were born and raised in Redlands, California. Danny and Jimmy, elder Faragher brothers started to play and release not a few single records in late 60's as the member of the soft rock band named "Peppermint Trolley Company". In early 70's, Danny and Jimmy formed new band named "Bones" and release an album with Billboard top 100 hit single "Robera" in 1972 and the album "Waiting Here" followed in 1973. After disbanding "Bones", Danny and Jimmy decided to start the new band with Tommy and Davey, two younger Faragher brothers. Soon, they could got a deal with ABC Records who wanted to find new Blue-Eyed soul mellow funk bands. In 1976, their first album "Faragher Bros" was released and "Family Ties" followed in 1977, both of which did not sell well. In 1978, Faragher Bros made a deal with Polydor and released their third album "Open Your Eyes" with top 50 soft-mellow flavored rock hit "Stay The Night", on which Marty Faragher, youngest Faragher brothers and their sister Pammy Faragher joined. Then, they renamed the band name as " The Faraghers" and released straight rock album in 1979. For your information, you can listen to Tommy Faragher's solo tracks on the movie soundtrack album "Stayin' Alive".
