Michael McDonald / The Voice Of Michael McDonald

0

In November 2000, Rhino Records released Michael McDonald's compilation album from the Doobie Brothers years to an out-take of "Blue Obsession" originally planned to be released under Warner Music in 1998. Four Doobies tunes featuring Michael McDonald such as “Takin' To The Street", "What A Fool Believes", fourteen solo-years works including two previously unissued tracks "Higher Ground" originally performed by Stevie Wonder and "Tell It Like It Is" known by Aaron Nevil's version are gathered on this collection album. It might be remarked that "Yah Mo B There" duet with James Ingram from Ingram's album "It's Your Night" (1983) and "On My Own" duet with Patti Labelle appeared on Patti's album "Winner In You" (1986) can be listened on this album. And further, What should I say the fact that David Pack's "I Just Can't Let Go"(1985), on which Michael sings background with James Ingram are also included. It is a little bit strange that this best album is only available either in Europe and in Japan, but not available in the United States.
