Kiki Ebsen / Love Loud

0

Kiki Ebsen, a female singer / keyboard player known for her own solo album "Red" (1993) and for a tour member with Chicago, Christopher Cross, was born in Santa Monica, California as the sixth daughter of well-known actor Buddy Ebsen. Ebsen entered the Califronia Institute of Arts to study classical piano and then majored in classical voice. I believe that her firm structure for music is coming from this basic training experience.
Ebsen released her second solo album "Love Loud", which title was announced as "Avenues" in its early stage of the project. Ebsen I mentioned about this album; “This new CD is follows the path of some of the U.S.'s more contemporary popular singer/songwriters like Sara McLauglin and Shawn Clovin., "Love Loud" is produced by Mark Browne, the producer of Ebsen’s first album, her long-time freined and supporter, known for his session works with Melissa Etheridge and Larry John McNally. When I compare this album with her first album "Red", I felt that Ebsen’s melodies seem to be more natural / earthy, and the total atmosphere is turned into simple ones, that would come from the keyboard arrangements and clear dry guitar sounds.
