England Dan & John Ford Coley / Nights Are Forever

0

In 1971, young Dan Seals and John Ford Coley released their duo debut single "New Jersey" as England Dan & John Ford Coley under A&M Records. They could not get big success and lost recording artist deal accordingly. In 1976, they met with fatal tune "I'd Rather Love To See You Tonight" written by Parker McGee. They got recording deal with Big Tree Records with this song and "I'd Rather Love To See You" ranked number 2 in the States. The following Top 10 single "Nights Are Forever Without You" pushed them into big names in late 1970's. The album "Nights And Forever" is their stepping stone album recorded in Hendersonville.
