Ambrosia / Road Island

This is Ambrosia's fifth album. After releasing this album, Ambrosia had stopped their band activity until 1990. As you know, Ambrosia restarted their live performances and also released their Anthology album including 2 brand-new songs in 1997. On this fifth album, more British progressive Ambrosia sounds, their musical roots shown on their first and second albums, were there. So, do not complain to me that this is not pure AOR / Westcoast album comparing their masterpiece albums "One Eighty" and/or "Life Beyond L.A.". The band appointed James Gutherie as the producer, known for his engineering work with Pink Floyd.
