Ambrosia

In the year 1970, Ambrosia was formed by the guys from the South Bay of Los Angeles; guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North and drummer Burleigh Drummond. The band was signed by 20th Century Records and their first album, the eponymous Ambrosia, produced by Freddie Piro, was released in February 1975. The first single “Holdin' On To Yesterday” was very unique fusion of rock and classical music and became their first USA top 20 hit. And the opening track “Nice, Nice, Very Nice” is really nice, nice, very nice tune. The Alan Parsons engineered album was peaked number 22 in USA and nominated for a Grammy award for Best Engineered Recording (other than Classical). When the Warner Bros. USA reissued this album in 1978 with the release of their third album "Life Beyond L.A", the first one on Warner, album artworks was changed.
Thus, the 1999 first reissued CD was with 1978 Warner edition’s artworks, which you see hereby the second photo.
