Broken Voices

As at December 1997, my understanding about Broken Voices album was newly released in that year very first time. However, it was totally wrong. It seemed to be 1989 when Graham Goble, a founding member of Australian rock group Little River Band started the project with Stephen Housden, lead guitarist of LRB since 1981 and Susie Ahern, a female session vocalist touring / recording with artists such as Kylie Minogue, Renee Geyer and John Farnham. The Broken Voice also did live shows from December 1989 to August 1990. The touring support members were
Annette Roche, Phil Henderson, Travis Clarke who participated in the album recording too, and James Roche. According to LRB live shows record, Goble’s last show with LRB was on 21 April, 1989 at Brisbane Hilton International Hotel, whilst Goble stayed with LRB by 1992 and the LRB album “Get Lucky” was released in February. It could be said that Goble started his solo career by this Broken Voices project in 1989. The 1991 self-release promo CD of the project seemed to include only 8 tracks, that is to say, “Secret Affair” and “Wanted” were not on it.
