This is the first of 2 Toyota 89C-V's that I got. This one in particular was actually the first one that I was interested in and if I didn't see this one, I probably wouldn't have bought the other two slot cars that were also being sold by the same seller. In the first qualifying session, Geoff Lees actually set the fastest time of the day and I believe the 2nd fastest for the entire qualifying sessions. However, it was apparently set on a test car so it was deleted. In the end, I believe they qualified around 17th. During the race, it was even worse for Toyota. All three cars that they entered retired before the race had reached its halfway point. This No. 37 car in particular was the one that lasted the longest, having to retire only after an accident had caused some unrepairable damages.
