Majorette's Porsche 917 K casting is definitely one of my favorites from them. What makes me appreciate them even more is that pretty much every release of it are based on actual cars. This one in particular is based on the Gesipa entry in the 1970 Paris 1000km race. Unfortunately, although the car qualified well, it didn't finish the race. If I remember correctly, the 1970 Paris 1000km race is also notable for being Jack Brabham's final race as a full-time driver. He did make some one-off appearances in the later years though, mostly in the Bathurst 1000 races in Australia.
