The casting is called the 'CUPRA e-RACER' but the actual car it is modeled after I believe is actually called the CUPRA Leon e-Racer. The CUPRA Leon e-Racer was developed to participate in the ETCR championship. The inaugural season of the ETCR championship was held in 2021 and the drivers and teams championships were won by Mattias Ekstrom and the CUPRA factory team. For 2022, Ekstrom would finish 2nd in the championship while his teammate Adrien Tambay ended up winning. The CUPRA team once again managed to win the teams championship. Unfortunately. 2022 would be the last season for the eTCR cars as it would be announced early in 2023 that the series would no longer be continued.

The livery on this casting by Hot Wheels seems to be based on the 2022 CUPRA EKS No. 1 entry driven by Mattias Ekstrom. As I mentioned earlier, he would finish 2nd in the drivers championship. What I really like about this Hot Wheels version is that they tried to copy the 'chameleon' paint job of the real cars. I'm actually quite surprised that Hot Wheels tried to replicate the 'chameleon' paint on this car especially since it's not really a car that is very popular.
