The proportions on this one look pretty wonky but I still decided to get this one because I believe this is the only Porsche 962 CK6 in 1/64 scale. Well I think it's a good thing I bought it because when I tried looking for more pictures of the car, I saw eBay postings of this car being sold for ridiculous prices. Now I am not 100% if that is really what it is worth these days but if so, then I got a really good deal considering I only bought this for around 8 USD.
This particular 962 CK6 seems to be based on the No. 10 entry of Porsche Kremer Racing in the 1989 Le Mans 24 Hours. The car would last long but towards the end of the race, the car went up in flames. Luckily, the driver that time who I believe to be Kunimitsu Takahashi was able to get out safely. The car was pretty much a write-off. It was really unfortunate for the team as at the time of the "spontaneous combustion" of the car, I believe they were running in the top 10. 1989 wasn't all that bad for Takahashi though as he would win the JSPC that year for the 4th time, also with a Porsche.
