イギリスのINDIE POPバンドSpearmintが1998年に初めてリリースしたアルバムで初期音源を集めた編集盤【Songs For The Colour Yellow】
2009年に公開されたアメリカ映画【(500)日のサマー】で主人公のトム・ハンセンが「It pains me we live in a world where nobody's heard of Spearmint.（誰もスペアミントを聴かない世界なんて僕には辛すぎる」といった台詞をきっかけに知ったバンドです。
この台詞を言う映画のシーンが凄く好きです。
