Footloose
Tim Feehan’s college band "Footloose" was asked by a local studio owner to record a song "Leaving for Maui" he'd written in 1979, which went top 10 for several weeks locally and popular also in Hawaii. Following the self-titled album release, the band also released several more singles over 1980 and 1981 with Tim leaving shortly thereafter to pursue a solo career before graduation from the University of Alberta in 1984.
