Sneaker / Loose In The World

Following the big success of their debut album, Sneaker released their second album " Loose In The World" produced again by Jeffrey Baxter in 1982. Unfortunately, Handshake Records that released both albums was obliged to be closed while they did Japanese tour promoting the just-released album "Loose In The World" in the autumn of 1982. Thus, the second album was not well-promoted and did not sell well naturally, Sneaker had disbanded...

Generally speaking, "Loose In The World" was said to be the uncompleted album comparing with the first album, because some tunes such as "The Fight" (interlude tune for "Voices") and the instrumental tune titled "Pour It Out" should have been included.
Many people said that "Believe Me Tonight" , the hard-driven tune was not needed, but I liked this tune.
It was interesting that there were difference between US original release LP and Japanese LP in respect of tracklisting. The track order were also different and "I Can't Imagine" was included on the Japanese LP instead of "Someone To Blame It On".
When the album "Loose In The World" is reissued on CD in 1998 by Cool Sound, Japan, both "Someone To Blame It On" and "I Can't Imagine" were on it. Furthermore, 3 other bonus tracks were added, including the album titled-song "Loose In The World" which was not strangely included on its original vinyl. "Never Get Over You" was a killer song and "Where You Gonna Run" was really good tune influenced by Steely Dan. "Loose In The World", one of the bonus tracks was worth listening and I could not understand why this tune had not been on.
