It was 1977 that Lisa Dal Bello, a young Italian/UK-origin female singer coming from Canada, got a chance to release her first solo album supported by TOTO members. On this debut album, she wrote all 10 songs, 3 of which are co-written with David Foster, the producer of this album, and one of which is co-written with Roy Kenner. You should note that she got Juno Awards (Best New Vocalist of the year) by this funky and emotional album. Someone may recall her impressive with Boz Scaggs on "Miss Sun", the demo version of which can be also listened on "TOTO XX" album. For your information, Lisa released 5 more solo albums; "Pretty Girls" (1979), "Drastic Measures" (1981) and so on.
