Ray Gooliak / Home Away From Home

0

Ray Gooliak is one of the finest Hawaiian singer-songwriter. However please note that Ray is not native Hawaiian but coming from Kentucky. "Home Away From Home" was originally released in 1979. When you will listen to his album "Home Away From Home" without any information about his career, you must feel that Ray is the one of the Los Angeles based Westcoast singer such as Ned Doheny and/or CSN&Y. "Maui On My Mind" is very impressive tune, which I believe you will satisfy with. As a matter of fact, I had no chance to listen to Ray Gooliak's albums before getting his reissued CDs in 2000. Due to the lost master tape, the reissue of the album on CD was done using its analog vinyl. Therefore, you may find several sound detects on the reissued CD as written on the liner notes in Japanese.
