Rise Up
Bobby Kimball finally released his first solo album “Rise Up” in Germany and Japan 10 years after his departure from Toto. Bruce Gowdy and Guy Allison, two founding members of World Trade with
Billy Sherwood and later formed Unruly Child, wrote most of the songs on the album and also participated in the recording as a guitarist / a keyboard player. Other Unruly Band members, Mark Free (lead vocalist) and Ricky Phillips (drummer) also provided their songwriting talents. Kimball covers Carole King’s pop classic “You've Got A Friend” and Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock”.
