Stylus / Part Of It All

0

Stylus was a Australian funk/soul band that released four albums and a number of singles 1975-1979. Whilst their 1978 third album “Best Kept Secret” was successfully also released as self-titled album in UK and USA under Prodigal - Motown Records, the band welcomed Peter Roberts on co-lead vocals and then Mark Meyer (Sailor) replaced Tattersall on drums, Prodigal was shelved by Motown in 1979, disrupting the Stylus-Motown relationship. In August 1979, the band released their fourth album “Part of It All”, but USA release was not happened. Stylus disbanded later in 1979. However, musically this fourth album is said to be the band’s best one among us.
The album was firstly reissued on CD on 15 November,1998 by Vivid Sound Corporation, Japan (VSCD- 573).
