Pat Kelly moved to Southern California in the early 1970's after majoring in music composition at the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He got opportunities to record and tour with acclaimed artists including George Benson, Natalie Cole, David Benoit, Tom Scott, Al Jarreau, Chick Corea, Olivia Newton John, Melissa Manchester, Burt Bacharach, and many others in the Los Angeles music scene.
In 1987, Kelly released his first solo album ‘View Of The Future” on Nova Records, USA, two albums “I'll Stand Up” and “High Heel” followed in 1989. “The Road Home” followed in 1994,
And four years later, the next effort was released in Japan first as the album titled “Good News”, then USA edition was released, which was refitted as “Moonlight Dance”.
Pat Kelly has been lecturing guitar as the Senior Lecturer Emeritus at USC Thornton School Of Music in Los Angeles.
