Rake And The Surftones / Surfers Drive Woodies

If this one were not Jay Graydon's project album. I did not buy it when the CD was released in 1996. Basically, you must remember that this album is Real 60's surf music album which Jay were playing when he was about 15 or 16 years old. And it was recorded for his fun between the process to check out his rebuilt studio damaged by Northridge Earthquake that occurred on 17 January, 1994 in the San Fernando Valley region of the County of Los Angeles. The album was recorded live commencing on October 9th, 1995, using the Harpoon Studios Remote truck parked at Malibu Beach next to the pier.
Apart from the album, was it just coincidence that the Great Hanshin earthquake (or known as Kobe earthquake) occurred on 17 January, 1995, just a year later in Japan?

Back to the music, Jay said, “that was important to remember that this album was REAL 60'S SURF MUSIC along with some intentional humor. The description was "seriously funny". I hope you enjoy this CD as much as all the players do.”
DO NOT EXPECT Jay's magical guitar-play on this album as Jay explained. Hence, this one must be aimed only for the collectors of Jay Graydon’s works.
