This is not an exact copy of the actual livery but it is pretty close. One of the biggest differences I can see would be the placement of the numberplate on the hood. On the actual car, it is placed a bit sideways while on this Hot Wheels casting, it is completely straight. Information on the actual car are pretty hard to find and I believe most are in Japanese. Luckily I was able to find the driver names for this one as well as its finishing position in the 1968 Suzuka 12 Hours race. I am not sure if it was entered under a certain team or if it is under Honda Motor Corporation so I just listed it as that for now. I'm quite surprised Hot Wheels did this one with an authentic livery but it is nice to see, especially after the earlier Porsche 904 Carrera GTS and Lotus 49 releases with authentic liveries as well. I do hope they do similar releases in the future.
