The game did not work on some PlayStation 2 systems. You then had to inform SCEI that the software did not work on your PS2 for them to exchange the initial version for the countermeasure version CD-ROM without charge. There is no clear information about the period you could do that. There were instructions on SCEI website that you had to follow (send the CD-ROM separately without case or instruction manual, packaging method, postage...).
