This Lotus Exige S by Tomica seems to be based on the 2010 or 2011 version of the Exige S based on the front. 2011 was the final year of the Series 2 Exige so I am not exactly sure why Tomica didn't do this model earlier. The yellow paintjob here is really nice and I listed it as the factory color Solar Yellow Metallic. Lotus is one of those European brands that Tomica seems to love doing models of and I am not entirely sure why. I do wish though that they tried to do the GT300 version of the Lotus Evora which is sadly no longer use, being retired after the 2021 Super GT season. The Exige itself actually participated in a single race as a GT300 back in 2005. Sadly the car itself was off the pace but it did continue to race in a Malaysian endurance series after the one-off Super GT appearance.
