I've been after this specific release for quite some time now but I've always refused to pay for it for more than the current mall price of Hot Wheels. Luckily, a seller I buy from usually posted this one loose for a decent price. The specific livery on this car is based on the reveal livery as well as the test car livery from 2008. The actual car started competing in 2009 so that is what I listed for the year. The Falcon FG V8 Supercar had a pretty good first year as the drivers championship was won by Jamie Whincup who drove a Ford, as well as the manufacturers championship. This is actually the only V8 Supercar casting I currently have in my collection although I used to have one of the Hot Wheels Holden Commodores back then. I also have a Matchbox Ford Thunderbird Stock Car with a livery that's based on Mark Larkham's 1995 car from the Australian Touring Car Championship, the predecessor of the V8 Supercars series.
