Same casting as the yellow one I've posted before. This is a casting that I've encountered multiple times before but I never really paid attention to it since the Corvette C6.R was already done in the 3-inch scale by manufacturers such as Kyosho, Greenlight, Hot Wheels, and even Jada. I thought to myself that with all of these manufacturers already doing it, what's the point bothering with the RMZ casting. Well the answer came to me when I was just browsing at some e-commerce website when I encountered this casting again. I decided to look for more pictures of it online and that's when I realized that this Corvette C6.R was actually different from all the ones I've mentioned before. The first thing that stood out to me was its rear. It was different from most of the other C6.R's that already existed. And then I also noticed a tiny detail at the side of the car, specifically, behind the arches of the front wheel, the car seemed to have some kind of a flare which I remember only existed on the GT2/GTE car. As far as I know, this is the only 1/64 scale Corvette C6.R GT2 that was ever introduced in the market. The base also says "2010 Corvette C6-R" which I think pretty much confirms that this car is the GT2/GTE version since the GT2 version was first introduced around halfway through 2009 and was used by the factory team full-time starting 2010.
