I did some research about this car before I determined its model year. I found out that for the model year 2008, Mercedes updated the front grille of the car resulting in just 3 lines as opposed to the previous 7 lines. Because of that, I think this model is the only 2008 Mercedes-Benz G-Class in 1/64 scale. I have one from Maisto before but it was modeling an earlier model, same with the Hot Wheels Blings version that I have. There is also a Kyosho version but looking at the grille, it once again seems to be modeling an earlier version of the car.
